The Safety Pharmacology Society is honored to recognize its 2017 Distinguished Service Award (DSA)
Recipient, Dr. Alan Bass, PhD.

The award is in recognition of his significant contributions to the field of safety pharmacology as well as his tireless dedication to the Safety Pharmacology Society (SPS). Dr. Bass has been engaged in the scientific and regulatory aspects of general pharmacology and safety pharmacology at national and international levels since 1992 and continues today to lead by example in championing the discipline of safety pharmacology, leading the Society’s global outreach, and working to apply current science and technology to advance safety pharmacology’s emerging role to improve quality of candidate drugs in discovery research.
