Now Accepting Applications: SPS Publication Awards

The SPS Awards Committee is pleased to offer three publication-based awards to SPS Members!

  • Translational Safety Pharmacology Award
  • Technological Innovation Award
  • Most Impactful Publication Award

Nominate a colleague, or yourself, by July 1 to be considered for an award in 2018.  

 

Translational Safety Pharmacology Award 

The Translational Safety Pharmacology Award is given for research based on the evaluation of the translation from in silico to in vitro, in vitro to in vivo, or in silico, in vitro and/or in vivo to human.

CRITERIA: To be considered for this award the research must have been published in the last two years (January 1, 2016 or newer) and at least one of the authors must be a SPS Member.

TO APPLY: If you wish to apply for this award, please send the abstract and publication information to SPS Headquarters, for Committee review. The recipient of this award will receive a certificate and acknowledgement at the 2018 SPS Annual Meeting.

 

Technological Innovation Award  

The Technological Innovation Award is given for research based on a ‘breakthrough’ technology that could potentially enhance/revolutionize the way we are doing an aspect of safety pharmacology.

CRITERIA: To be considered for this award the research must have been published in the last two years (January 1, 2016 or newer) and at least one of the authors must be a SPS Member.

TO APPLY: If you wish to apply for this award, please send the Abstract and publication information to SPS Headquarters, for Committee review. The recipient of this award will receive a certificate and acknowledgement at the 2018 SPS Annual Meeting. 

 

Most Impactful Publication Award  

The Most Impactful Publication Award is given to recognize an exceptional, recently published paper that impacts scientific advancement in safety pharmacology.

CRITERIA: Eligible papers must have been published within the last two years (January 1, 2016 or newer) and may appear in any peer-reviewed journal. The first author of the publication must be a member of SPS.

TO APPLY: If you wish to apply for this award, please send a copy of the publication and any documentation that supports its scientific impact in safety pharmacology, to SPS Headquarters, for review. The recipient of this award will receive a certificate and acknowledgement at the 2018 SPS Annual Meeting.
