You’re Invited: Student and Jr. Investigator Speed Networking Event in Washington, DC

SPS Academic Outreach Committee Presents: Student, Jr. Investigator and Academic Speed Networking Event

On behalf of the Academic Outreach Committee, we would like to invite you and your colleagues to attend the SPS Student, Jr. Investigator and Academic Speed Networking Event!

The SPS is offering a free half-day at the SPS Annual Meeting in Washington, DC including a Speed Networking Event for students and young investigators interested in the field of safety pharmacology and toxicology. This event features lunch and informal speed networking with SPS Members. This will be a fantastic way to learn more about safety pharmacology, grow your network and open up new opportunities!

The Speed Networking Event takes place on Monday, October 1, 2018 during the lunch break (12:00–13:00, Room: Wilson C). We encourage you to arrive before Noon to check in at registration to obtain your badge. After the event, we invite those in attendance to spend the rest of the afternoon viewing posters, meeting with exhibitors and attending Scientific Sessions.

Those attending this special free Speed Networking Event, who are not registered for the Annual Meeting, will only have access to events taking place on Monday, October 1 from 12:00-17:45, and must RSVP by September 7 to obtain a badge. Feel free to pass this message along to individuals and colleagues who may be interested!

If you are already attending the Annual Meeting as a student, jr. investigator or academic attendee, you are also invited to join the event by completing the RSVP form by September 20.

If you are interested in volunteering as a member volunteer to network with students, Jr. Investigators and academics at this event, please RSVP by completing the RSVP form by September 20. Select your type as “SPS Member (Volunteer)”

We welcome and encourage all students, academics and award recipients to attend! If you have any questions regarding the Speed Networking Event or the Annual Meeting, please contact Krystle Correll.
