SPS Membership Committee Presents:
SPS New Member & First-time Attendee Networking Event

On behalf of the Safety Pharmacology Society (SPS), the Membership Committee is excited to invite you to a networking event for all New SPS Members, First-time Meeting attendees and Veteran SPS Members too!

The Membership Committee is excited to continue our event designed to provide enhanced early career support and interaction for new SPS members and first-time meeting attendees. We welcome you to attend a unique 30-minute welcome event where you, as an early career professional, will receive information on the Society, including opportunities for engagement, and be paired with an SPS “veteran” member who has volunteered their time towards mentorship. This special welcome event and engagement opportunity is available for first-time annual meeting attendees, as well as members that have joined SPS within the last 3 years.

The goal of the outreach is to educate new members and first-time attendees on the overall value of the Society to them on a personal and professional level, while also affording a valuable opportunity for meaningful learning and career advancement via the establishment of a mentoring relationship. The goal of the mentoring relationship is for the veteran and new member/attendee to have meaningful networking and scientific interactions at the Meeting, but to continue this effort post-meeting. In addition to the networking portion of the event, we will also have some special giveaways!

We sincerely hope that you choose to connect with this vital and rewarding opportunity to learn more about what SPS membership has to offer and networking with long-time SPS members.

Please RSVP by September 1 if you can join us for this event at the Centre de Convencions Internacional de Barcelona on Monday, September 23 from 18:00-18:30.
